Three Alumni. Three Career Paths. One Transformative Education. 

God created us to work, and He has created a unique path for each of us. Education equips us to carry out this calling, whether in ministry, government, entrepreneurship, medicine, or elsewhere. A solid foundation in Apostolic education is key to navigating the path God has for each of us. One of the biggest myths about higher education is that your major must equal your career choice, and in most cases that isn't true. There is no better way to deliver this message than through Alumni Career Stories. 

Join us via Zoom on Thursday, October 15th at 5 pm PST to hear from three Wilson University Alumni. They will share how Wilson University has equipped them for their career and calling. This is an open event open to current WU students, alumni, faculty, and the general public. You won't want to miss this. 

Meet the panelists:

Cody Holliday is an Engineering Technician with CENTEC Engineering, specializing in CAD design and drone surveying. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Wilson University and degrees in Civil Engineering Technology from Bridge Valley Community and Technical College and WVU Tech. In 2024, Cody earned his FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and founded Kairos Enterprises, providing drone photography and videography services for real estate marketing. Called to ministry at age 15, Cody also serves as a lay minister in his local church, using his skills in media production, technology, teaching, and project management to support its ministries.

Clint Kent serves as a Director of Operations in the multifamily construction industry, where he leads teams, builds strong relationships, solves complex problems, and helps both employees and clients succeed. He is also actively involved in ministry and church leadership, reflecting an important part of his life and calling. His education at Wilson University strengthened his leadership skills and equipped him with practical ways to integrate his faith into his professional career, ministry, and approach to serving others.

Jake Wolf serves as Assistant Secretary for Emergency Services and Sustainability at the California Government Operations Agency. With more than 22 years of experience in emergency medical services, fire service, public health, and emergency management, he helps strengthen California’s preparedness, continuity, and response efforts. Before entering state leadership, Jake served as a paramedic and held progressive roles in emergency services and training. He is also actively involved in ministry and co-founded Saved & Sober, a faith-based recovery ministry. A Wilson University graduate, Jake credits his education with strengthening the leadership, communication, and ministry skills he applies in public service and his calling.
